Terms
Our terms of business.
The terms every job and plan runs on. Your proposal names the version you're agreeing to, and anything specific to your job is written in the proposal itself.
Version 1.0, September 2026. Noor Labs is a trading name of Steady Rise LTD, registered in England and Wales, No. 16153084, registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. "We" means Noor Labs and "you" means the business named in your proposal.
1. How a job starts
- Every job is described in a written proposal: what's included, what isn't, the price, and what we need from you.
- A proposal is valid for 30 days. Accepting it, by e-signature or by replying "I accept", means you agree to these terms at the version named in the proposal.
- Work starts once the deposit is paid and we have everything listed in your intake form.
2. Paying
- Every job starts with a 50% deposit. The balance is due before the site goes live on your domain. Until then, you review it on a preview link.
- The deposit can't be refunded once building has started.
- If your intake isn't complete within 30 days of paying the deposit, we close the job and hold your deposit as credit for 6 months, so you can restart when you're ready.
- Invoices are due within 7 days unless your proposal says otherwise. We may pause work or services on overdue accounts, and may charge interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- Prices don't include VAT unless stated. If we become VAT registered, we'll tell you in writing before VAT is added.
3. Reviews and changes
- Your proposal says how many review rounds are included. A round is one set of comments sent together, which we make in one go.
- Extra rounds, and anything not in your proposal, are priced in a written change order that you agree before we start.
- A small change is an update to existing content, like text, a price, opening hours, a photo or an offer, taking up to 30 minutes. New pages, new features and redesigns aren't small changes.
4. Plans: Hosting, Care and Care Plus
- The first year of hosting is included with a Starter site. After that, Hosting or a Care plan continues at the price in your plan agreement.
- Care plans include a set number of small changes a month. Unused changes roll over for up to 2 months, up to twice your monthly allowance.
- Monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days' notice. Yearly plans are paid in advance and aren't refunded part-way through the year. We'll remind you at least 30 days before a yearly renewal.
- We aim to finish plan changes within one working day of your request.
5. What you provide
- Accurate content, including prices, allergen information, opening hours and any legal information about your business. You're responsible for its accuracy.
- Logos, photos and words you have the right to use.
- The steps that need you personally, like verifying your Google profile or opening payment accounts. We guide you through them, but can't do them for you.
6. Who owns what
- Once you've paid in full, you own your website content, your domain and your accounts. Your domain and other accounts are registered in your name.
- We keep ownership of our own templates, code and methods, and give you a permanent licence to use them as part of your site.
- We may show your site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
- We never ask for your passwords and never sign in as you.
7. Other companies' services
- Your site may use services run by others, like Square, Google, Stripe, GoCardless, domain registrars and hosting providers. Their own terms and fees apply, and we aren't responsible for their outages, fee changes or decisions.
8. Your customers' data
- Where your site collects personal data, like enquiries or orders, you're the controller and we act as your processor. We only use that data to run your site and keep it secure, only use other providers where the service needs them, and delete or return it when our work ends. Our own privacy notice covers the data we collect about you.
9. If something goes wrong
- Our total liability under any job or plan is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- We aren't liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost orders or lost data caused by other companies' services.
- Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Ending things
- You can end a job at any time. You pay for the work done up to that point, and the deposit isn't refunded once building has started.
- When you leave a plan, we hand over your site's files and help move your domain, at no extra charge beyond anything you owe.
11. The small print
- We may update these terms. Updates apply to new proposals and plan renewals, never to a job already under way.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Questions about any of this? Ask us before you sign. We'd rather explain it now than argue about it later.
